• What fittings do I need ?

o Thermo and Supra use 6 Bar fittings

o Aqua uses 10 Bar fittings.

o Quattro uses both 6 Bar and 10 Bar fittings.

• How do I identify the correct couplings to fit onto the Pre-Insulated pipe ?

o Cast onto the fitting is
“outer pipe diameter x wall thickness and PN6/PN10”. 

PN6/PN10 highlights 6 or 10 Bar.

• When do I use elbows ?

o We recommend bending pipes wherever possible to reduce joints and minimise installation costs.

Bend Radii are between 0.20m to 1.2m depending on the size of pipe. 

Ideally, only use elbow insulation sets for tight bends.

• Do I need Endcaps ?

o Endcaps should be used to keep moisture out of the
Pre-Insulated pipe and maintain the pipes insulating properties.

• Can I expose/ hang the pipe ?

o The Pre-Insulated pipes corrugated sleeve
is UV resistant in the UK and can be hung.

Installers should ensure suitable protection and fitting is provided based on the location and potential risk exposure.

• Do the Elbow and Tee Insulation sets include sealant ?

o Yes

• How deep should the pipes be installed underground ?

o The pipes should ideally be buried below the local frost line. This is typically greater than 400mm.

o For laying under heavy traffic loads a minimum 
install depth is 0.5m.

o Ensure 100mm gaps between pipes when laying.
